The solution is - product development. Problem is Indian do product development again serving Western venture captial or do service business where work starts only after a purchase order is placed. Indians do not - as a rule - have the guts to risk their own money in product development because it is more risky but Product Development is what separates the men from the boys in IT - so to speak. Korea has become prosperous in 15 years with product development. Indian BPO's are sitting on millions of dollars worth of cash but will not risk a fraction of this to develop products because the culture of product development is an entirely different ball game. We are trying to change that - check our website. Indians are sisk averse because in case of failure they will not help their countrymen to find their feet again - nor are risk takers admired as in other cultures. Things might be changing, though.
